Summary:

On this tour you will  visit Ballestas islands and overflight of the Nazca Lines. From the Bay of Paracas  we will arrive there in thirty minutes on a boat ride. Spectacular rock formations have been formed by erosion, which provide nesting places for thousands of seabirds, including pelicans, penguins, flamingos that cohabit in this paradise. One of the highlights of the boat ride are the hundreds of playful sea lions that swim and come right up to the boats. 

The Nazca Lines lie outside the town covering a desert plain of 500 km2. The best way to see these vast, enigmatic engravings is from the air. There are nearly 30 different geometric designs and figures. The best known of the lines are the man, the monkey, spider, hummingbird, dog, fish, and the condor.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Lima – Paracas – Nazca   Transfer to the Bus station with destination to Paracas.     Boat ride to Ballesta islands. You will see a wide variety of sea birds and local sealion population. Besides, you will also have the opportunity to see the mysterious Candelabro rock carving whose origins are still unknown.   Transfer to the bus station with destination to Nazca.  Day 2: Nazca – Lima     Flight over the Nazca lines.   Return to Lima and transfer to your selected hotel.    Would you like to continue your adventure with us?     Feel free to ask for more information. Lima – Cusco – Sacred valley – Machu Picchu

The ancient capital of the Inca Empire, also considered the archaeological capital of South America, shows the mixture of Spanish and Inca cultures reflected in its architecture of enormous cut-stone blocks, baroque style churches and other beautiful places that exhibit an amazing panorama of this lively and cosmopolitan city. Machu Picchu, one of the seven new wonders, is located in this fantastic part of the world.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Lima

At your arrival, whatever the time it is, you will receive a warm welcome of Peru Tours Adventure staff at the airport. After you have passed immigration and customs, you will be transferred to your comfortable hotel.

Day 2: Lima – Cusco

Our driver will collect you in the morning for your transfer to the airport. Our staff in Cusco will be waiting to welcome you and transfer you to your selected hotel.

In the afternoon, our guide will arrive to your hotel for your Cusco city tour. The archaeological capital of South America has wonderful views and beautiful places to visit. You will be taken and appreciate the cathedral, Temple of the Sun Korikancha, Quenqo, Sacsayhuaman, puca pucara and Tambomachay. This visit is only the beginning of your

Day 3: Cusco – Sacred valley - Cusco

Before heading off to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, your day will start with a delicious early breakfast. Right afterward, our expert guide will take you to Ollantaytambo ruins and Pisac market where you will have the chance to interact with local citizens whom will be in their traditional dress. You will have the chance to buy local handicrafts produced in the region.

Return to Cusco for a free evening in order to relax before the next depart for a new exciting day of activities.

Day 4: Cusco – Machu Picchu - Cusco

This day will start with an early collection from the hotel and transfer to the train station for your train to Machu Picchu. Our expert guide will meet you at the station and take you to the citadel. Here you will be able to look the impressive sight of the ruins before you and the beautiful vast landscape. The guided tour will last around two hours, giving you the opportunity to learn all about the ruins and ask any questions you would like to ask.

Once the guided tour is over, you will be able to have the rest of the afternoon to enjoy your visit and explore the site at your leisure, taking pictures and walking on this place.

You have the option to add an extra night to your trip and overnight in Aguas Calientes which is a small town located below Machu Picchu. This allows you to to return to the site the next day and explore the ruins in more detail or see the sunrise over the mountains, a truly expectacular sight.

Day 5: Cuzco – Lima 

After a good breakfast, we will collect you and transfer you back to capital for your private Lima city tour at a time of your choice.

The tour will take you to both colonial and modern Lima. The tour will visit places such as the Plaza de Armas, Palace of government, the catacombs of the San Francisco church and the City Hall . Followed by visits to both Barranco and Miraflores where you tour will end. You will then have the remainder of your day free until we come to collect you for your transfer to the airport for your flight home.
